First visit — $200 | Scheduled for 60 minutes
Your visit includes a detailed health history and physical examination, including orthopedic and neurological testing, with treatment when clinically appropriate. There is time to discuss your findings, questions, and practical self-care steps. If you have a complex health history, please contact us before booking so we can plan enough time.
Follow-up visit — approximately 30 minutes, $75
Your 30-minute appointment includes approximately 25 minutes of treatment and five minutes for wrap-up and close-out. Follow-up care depends on your individual needs and response to treatment. Dr. Wiest reassesses your progress and discusses next steps with you.

New Journey Chiropractor and Wellness was founded on a simple idea: patients deserve care that treats the whole person, backed by real credentials and current research, not guesswork.
That standard starts with our founder, Dr. Thomas Wiest, DC, MSc, DIBCN. Dr. Wiest graduated valedictorian of his Doctor of Chiropractic program at Keiser University (2023) and holds a Master of Science degree alongside his Diplomate in Chiropractic Neurology (DIBCN) from the International Academy of Chiropractic Neurology, a credential held by very few chiropractors in South Florida. He holds a certification in electrodiagnostics and has not yet taken the electrodiagnostics board examination. He also completed an externship in Preventive Medicine and Rehabilitation with the VA.
Dr. Wiest brings more than the classroom to his practice. He has served 10+ years in the U.S. Army Reserve, including natural disaster response along the East Coast, and is currently working to launch a non-profit supporting veterans, first responders, and healthcare workers. That background shapes how he practices: disciplined, evidence-based, and genuinely invested in his patients' recovery.
His clinical toolkit includes Diversified HVLA technique, Cox Technique (flexion-distraction) for disc-related pain, and functional neurology approaches for headaches, migraines, post-surgical recovery, and neurological symptoms, a direct result of his DIBCN training.

Your first visit starts with a conversation about your health history and goals, followed by an assessment. From there, Dr. Wiest builds a treatment plan specific to your condition, so you won't get a generic protocol.
Bring any relevant medical records, a list of current medications, and comfortable clothing you can move in. If you have imaging (X-rays, MRIs) related to your condition, bring that too.
Dr. Wiest's Diplomate in Chiropractic Neurology is rare in South Florida, which means patients with headaches, migraines, or post-surgical complications get a level of neurological insight most chiropractic clinics don't offer.
